Vessel Italian Bar & Restaurant Reviews Review submitted 16th November 2011 - by Phil Great service and great food. Real traditional Italian pizza which is hard to find in Sydney now a days. Just simple pizza with a few toppings and full of flavor. I ordered the salami pizza which was delicious. The salami was a bit spicy and they had a bit of pesto on top which added an extra dimension to the taste. Peroni beer on tap adds extra points for this restaurant. Good for a quick lunch or a leisurely meal for lunch or dinner. Top marks from me. Review submitted 20th July 2011 - by Scott I went to Vessel for lunch on Friday with a large group from work. 1 of our friends had already arrived and ordered a glass of water. The waiter just brought a litre bottle of sparkling water. As we all started arriving he brought another 2 bottles and just placed them on the table. We questioned who had ordered them and he just said 'Oh I thought you would get through these'. Yeah right! at $10 a bottles no thanks! We said we didn't want them and he did take them back without a fuss but a bit a cheek just bringing them. I ordered a pizza which was nice, thin crust and tasty with chorizo sausage on it. Though it was not so filling and was still hungry after lunch. For $22 a pizza I would expect a decent feed.
