Sagano Japanese Restaurant Reviews Review submitted 19th October 2011 - by Scott I went into Sagano for the first time for lunch after walking past many times. The restaurant looks nice inside, a nice little hiddy hole in the city tucked away on Jamieson street. I ordered the chicken teriyaki bento box with tempura. It looked great when it arrived, a lot of food. I was a bit critical when I started eating, the tempura batter was a bit thick and the teriyaki chicken didn't have much sauce on it. By the end of the meal I had devoured every last bite and grain of rice, thoroughly satisfied. A bento is after all a symphony of flavours complementing each other. I think this will be one of my new lunch time favourites to hide from work and enjoy a tasty meal. Great service too with actual Japanese staff, friendly and efficient
