I agree with the review from Scott: Pier Nine's yum cha is great. My wife and I both felt that it was the best that we have ever had (and we have had tried plenty of places around Sydney as well as in New Zealand and the USA). Although we were initially disappointed that there were not carts bring various dishes around (as you find in most yum cha places), we were immediately pleased when our order from the menu was brought to us fresh and very hot. Every item was well prepared, well presented and(most importantly) delicious. Though we ordered dishes that we had eaten elsewhere, it seemed that each one was a step above every other yum cha restaurant that we had tried before. Perhaps it was the hot/fresh aspect that made the difference. Overall, we were very happy and would be happy to return.

Absolutely awesome yum cha. The best quality yum cha dishes I have had in a long time, much better than any restaurant I have been to in Sydney's Chinatown. I am lucky I just work around the corner so can pop in with my colleagues for great Yum Cha whenever we want..
