Obelisk Beach
is located in the northern suburbs of Mosman, within the Sydney Harbour

As Obelisk Beach is located within a National Park and away from public viewing nudity is allowed only in the confines of the beach itself.
There is a mixture of people who visit Obelisk Beach for nude sunbathing. Unfortunately not a lot of super models go to ensure they do not have tan lines. Majority that go are older men and gay men. Allow it is illegal to be naked anywhere other than on the beach, it has been reported that gay men cruise through the bushes overlooking the beach. Just over the headlands, heading north is another nudist beach, Cobblers Beach.

Public transport to Obelisk Beach
It is not difficult to get to by public transport - Daily (7 days) hourly
bus service Route 244 ex Stand A Carrington St Wynyard (25 minute transit
time) alight at HMAS Penguin Naval Base. Five minute walk to either
Cobblers or Obelisk.
