Imperial Beijing located at 238 Military Rd Neutral Bay. Open Monday to Saturday Noon to 3pm and 5pm to 11pm Sundays from noon to 10pm.

Big Red Lantern (2 reviews) located at 11a Pyrmont Bridge Road Pyrmont, 5 minutes walk from Darling Harbour is a new Chinese Restaurant opened in January 2010. With an interesting menu with great descriptions like 'The cowherd and weaving girl' for their fillet steak and brocolli with oyster sauce dish or 'Running the grasslands in Mongolia' for their Mongolian chicken or beef dish. Entrees start from $7.80 and main meals start from $14.80. Free home delivery within the area for orders over $30. Ph: 9692 9888. House of Guangzhou 1st Floor, 76 Ultimo Road Haymarket, close to Paddy's Markets and just next to Chinatown. The decor of this restaurant is fairly basic though it serves some great Chinese food. A mixed entree including deep fried dim sims, spring rolls with sweet and sour sauce is $8.80. For main meals the House of Guangzhou serves some great meals. The salt and pepper squid is excellent at $22.80, the BBQ Pork $16.80 and a definite highlight is one of Sydney's cheapest Peking Duck with pancakes at $54.80. And for desert they do some great Aussie Chinese deep fried ice-cream at $6. Other popular dishes include Mongolian Lamb, Chicken Chow Mein, Stringy Beef and Special Fried Rice with duck pieces.
