Auburn Swimming Centre - the Ruth Everess Aquatic Centre is located close to Lidcombe train station in the suburb of Auburn, 16km from Sydney's CBD. Trains travel along the Western Train line and take around 30 minutes to get to Lidcome station from Central Station in the city. The Auburn Aquatic Centre has an outdoor Olympic sized swimming pool and diving pool with diving towers. There is also a 25m heated indoor pool which is opened all year round.
The Auburn Swimming Centre is home to the Western Suburbs Aussi Masters Swimming Club.
