Winter Time in Australia and there is still so much to do. The snowy mountains snow season is in full swing, there is whale watching all up and down the east coast of Australia and the northern parts of Australia still have lovely warm weather to enjoy.

Melbourne's Spring Racing Carnival including the The Melbourne Cup horse race is on the worlds richest horse races which brings the nation of Australia to a standstill around 3pm on the first Tuesday of November every year. This year the race is being held on the 2nd November 2010. The race is held at Flemington Race Course in Melbourne though you will be able to view the race anywhere in Australia in pubs, bars, restaurants and open air venues setup with large screens.
